Check out this great addition to the D.C. blogosphere – Shine DC, started by Sue Kyung Kim. Sue was kind enough to include us in the premier, along with our favorite fashion magazine Worn. The goal of Shine is to provide a directory of artistic events, places, and great boutiques. We love the look of it and we can’t wait to see how the site fills up. Keep doing it, Sue!

Seersucker in the City

We are super excited about the upcoming Seersucker Social and to get ready for lovely event, we’re hosting a lil’ party in-store. Next weekend the whole store (excluding jewelry) will be 15% off and on Saturday we’ll be serving refreshments, including expert drinks by Kat Bangs featuring yummy St-Germain.

In order to celebrate the loveliness that is the Seersucker Social, we are holding a contest of sorts. Send us pics of you in your Treasury gear at the ride and you could win a gift certificate to Treasury! We’ll be judging pics based on best use of vintage, so make sure to snap away and send them to us the week after the ride.

Worn Magazine

If you haven’t heard about Worn Magazine by now, please listen up. It’s an amazing fashion and culture magazine about DC and it’s ever-growing effervescence. And the photography is top-notch. The magazine can gotten at Treasury, as well as at other beautiful shops ’round town (the first issue features Treasury garments!). And keep up with their blog for a more constant fix. We can’t wait for the beauty that is still to come…

Ok, I know we’ve been gushing about fashion:district since it happened but I just had to post this last group of pics from TPWP…they really capture the essence of the event. Marshall really kicked ass with this batch.

You guys, we had a thrilling time taking part in ReadySetDC’s fashion:district. Much thanks to Justin and Jordan for including us, Carla for her infinite help, Erin for her shopgirl skillz, Kristen for her runway expertise, Marshall for his photo talent, Lori for being the coolest, the other boutiques/lines for being so awesome and everyone that came out for supporting independent fashion in DC!

We were too frazzled to take any pics, but there are some great roundups at Worn Magazine, BrightestYoungThings and of course The President Wears Prada.
