If you’re a little behind on your Valentine’s Day shopping, come visit us at Treasury. We’ll be more than happy to help you find something special for your someone special. Here’s a few of our top picks:
Jian DeLeon of Peasant Status and JohnThornley of US Royalty stopped in and we couldn’t help but admire their classic sense of style. Their plan for the evening was to have a gentleman’s night of whiskey, bbq, ping pong and clothing trades, the brainchild of John’s brother, Paul. Jian is a regular and we admire how he picks pieces that are both timeless and look to be tailor-made for him.
Both the corduroy blazer sported by Jian and the navy peacoat on John are available in-store.
Meet our new employee: B. McGee. She looks amazing in just a bow-tie or scarf. She came all the way from Flatonia, Texas. If you are ever in the Lone Star State, you gotta stop by Lucky Find Antiques. The owners are incredibly sweet and helpful.
Ok, working a little slow here on the internet, our apologies. Check out the latest fashion shots over at The President Wears Prada. This time we paired up with Redeem’s stylin’ wears to show how much fun and creativity can go into matching the old and the new. Stay tuned for a smashing Spring event following the same concept…
Going Green DC just posted a sweet little article about Kristen. She is working real hard to spread the word on upcycling with vintage and salvaged scraps and bits that would otherwise become landfill. You have see the corset she mentioned in person. Thanks, Going Green and Maria.
Ronia’s big sister Anoko is a fantastic stylist as you can see from this photo! Anoko quickly whipped together this amazing all-Treasury 1880s meets the 1920s outfit! It reminded us of the fashion in The Young Victoria (see it!) where the collars and flares on the jackets made us wish for a Victorian revival for men as well.
We have 5 pairs of passes for an exclusive pre-screening of The Young Victoria, starring Emily Blunt. The buzz is hot on this and you know Treasury loves a good period piece. Email us at info@shoptreasury.com if you would like to attend the screening and the pre-party at the Ritz beforehand:
From Academy Award Winners Graham King and Martin Scorsese, along with the makers of Gosford Park and The Departed, comes THE YOUNG VICTORIA, the story of Queen Victoria’s early rise to power.
On the eve of her 18thBirthday and succession to the English throne, young Princess Victoria (Emily Blunt) is caught in a royal power struggle. But it is her blossoming love affair with Albert (Rupert Friend) that will determine the strength of her reign.

Why am I already thinking of tropic getaways? Winter hasn’t even started. This song is getting me through the months until I am able to get away to PR. SO CHILL.
