Why do people wear flip flops in the rain? It’s like a death wish. Everything is slippery, your feet get all wet, muddy and gross, and usually the flip flops just fly off your feet.
Because you can dry off much faster. When shoes get wet they stay wet for the rest of the day. And wouldn’t you rather your feet get muddy than a nice pair of shoes?
Hmm, I understand that you can dry off faster, but you can find shoes that won’t suck up water. How about just getting some Tretorn rain boots? Less chance of breaking your neck.
Thanks for this, Listopad. What I also love is seeing people wear the aforementioned “shoes” well into fall, and even on 40 degree days. These lame excuses for slovenly
behavior are just that-lame…
